Go And Share

Well she was just seventeen,  

Watching conference on big screen. 

When the prophet said,

Girls can serve two years younger.

Why would she wait any longer?  (ooh)  

When the prophet said “Go at nineteen."

When she heard the news, 

She knew what she would do.

That before too long.. she’d have the title “Sister.”

She couldn’t wait any longer (woooo)

Cuz the prophet “Get out there.”  

Well, everybody bawled

when she opened up her call.

And we knew it was the right place for her.   

Oh, she prepared herself to go, 

She got a shiny glow.  

We helped her pack, the bags weighed more than her.

She couldn’t wait any longer  (oooh)

Since the prophet said “Go and share.”  (ahhhhhhh  ahhh ahhh)

Well, she walked a million miles

Didn't care about hair styles.

And she learned to eat weird stuff with a smile….ile.

Well she learned to ride a bike,

With a skirt.  That’s just not right.

But before too long, her 18 months were over.

She’s fallin in love..  with hot water. (ooh)

And washing clothes at home, not in the river.

And eating Wonder Bread not chicken liver.

She's prea--chy but we... forgive her.
