My Favorite Saga

Lyrics by Cory Smith, music by Steve Miller Band (Jungle Love)

My favorite saga is Star Wars

it started with episode four

At first there were only three movies

I always hoped there would be more

Eventually there was a prequel

the acting I’d like to forget

And there’s nothing that could get me ready for

the silliest character yet

Jar Jar Binks, he's drivin' me mad

he's makin' me crazy

Jar Jar Binks, his CGI’s bad

he talks like a baby

The prequels had one basic premise

it’s Anakin’s story, you see

And they had a predictable plot line

he’s Darth Vader by episode three

I wish there had been more surprises

like a hero in love with his sis

And there’s one twist of fate

that would have really been great

if Lucas had just thought of this

Jar Jar Binks, he’s secretly bad

he’s evil and crazy

Jar Jar Binks, he’s Anakin’s dad

though details are hazy

My favorite saga it was Star Wars

Did you notice how I said, “was”?

See, Disney created some sequels

and those travesties are the cause

My heroes were made into losers

or needlessly killed by their son

An old villain got resurrected

but I think they chose the wrong one

Jar Jar Binks, it would have been rad

it would have been crazy

Jar Jar Binks, comes back from the dead

and then faces Daisy

Jar Jar Binks, in episode nine

would drive the fans crazy

Jar Jar Binks, with this final line

“Meesa chosen one, maybe”
