the Taste Of Chocolate

Lyrics by Paul Walker, music by Simon and Garfunkel (The Sound of Silence)

Hello cupcake, my old friend

You’ve come to tempt me once again

Your frosting rich with choc late cream

Made with heaven-sent cocoa beans

Each mouthful, gives me such a sugar high

and bigger thighs.

I love the taste... of chocolate.

A pound of See’s, I wanted more

Waiting in the candy store.

Without chocolate I feel cold and damp

Need a Snickers bar or I get cramps.

My taste buds came alive with 2 pounds of peanut M&M’s,

Don’t condemn.

I love the taste … of chocolate.

And in the buffet line I saw,

Ten thousand people maybe more,

Eating cookies made with chocolate drops,

Chewing fudge like they would never stop.

People swimming laps in vats of chocolate goo

It was fondue.

They love the taste… of chocolate.

Fools pass by the a la mode.

But I eat cake till I explode.

Take this Kit Kat, it will make you strong,

Try this Roca and a box of Ding Dongs.”

And my words like Hershey Kisses fell,

I ate them as well.

I love the taste... of chocolate.

I love to exercise,

When that means eating chocolate pies.

Some say that chocolate’s bad for me.

But with out it I lose san ity.

When my doctor said, “All this chocolate might make you die”

I could not reply...

My mouth was full -- of chocolate.
